Gourmet Ham Sandwich


1 long and wide loaf of French bread, about 4 inches by 12 inches, split in half

1 package of Pomponio Ranch Pork Lunch meat

4 leaves of leafy lettuce, rinsed and patted dry

1 large beef steak tomato, sliced into ¼” thin slices

1 semi-ripe avocado, peeled, pitted and cut into thin slices

½ red onion, sliced thin

Yellow mustard, about 2 tablespoons

Mayonnaise, about 3 tablespoons

8 ounces sliced provolone



1. Place the bottom half of the French bread on a cutting board.

2. Smear it with 2 tablespoons of the mayonnaise.

3. Place the lettuce on the bottom and then the tomatoes.

4. Place the meat across the top, forming into loose rolls.

5. Top with cheese, avocado and onion.

6. Before topping with the bread top, smear the bread with the mustard and 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise.

7. Lightly press the bread on the top.

8. Cut into slices and serve.
