Flank Steak with Chimichurri Sauce
Ingredients for Flank Steak and Chimichurri Sauce:
- 2 Pomponio Ranch Flank Steaks
- ½ red onion chopped
- 1 jalapeño stem and seeds removed
- 4 garlic cloves, peeled
- ½ cup of red wine vinegar
- Pinch sea salt
- ½ cup finely chopped basil
- ¼ cup finely chopped flat-leaf parsley
- 2 Tbsp. finely chopped cilantro or oregano
- ¾ cup of extra-virgin olive oil
Directions for Grilling your Flank Steak:
- Oil your steak and season with salt and pepper or your favorite steak seasoning.
- Brush on light layer of your Chimichurri Sauce
- Grill at 400° F until desired doneness (about 8 min for medium rare). For a detailed breakdown of internal temperatures, check here.
- Remove them and let rest for 10 min.
- Slice up your flank steak and spoon over desired chimichurri amount
Directions for Chimichurri Sauce:
- Place all ingredients in a food processor
- Blend together until you have a smooth sauce.You should still see some chopped herbs it should not be a puree.
